Our mission includes marketing the region to the traveler and promoting tourism-based economic development in our communities. We produce our own press and public relations materials, and we assist writers and editors covering Far West Texas. In addition to the generous coverage we receive from local press in the region, we share the following articles, which were created with the assistance of Texas Mountain Trail staff and volunteers. At the bottom of the page are some of our own materials.

400,000 households receiving the February 2008 issues of Texas Monthly and Women's Day will receive Texas Bound, including a feature on the Texas Mountain Trail Region! To read the entire issue, and our article on page 19-21, click here! Thanks to Texas Monthly and traveltex.com!

Our Texas Mountain Trail Book Crossing Project is receiving great press in the regional newspapers, and media attention outside Far West Texas!
