Races and Special Events
Peyton's Bikes of Midland and the Permian Basin Bicycle Association organize two Fort Davis events a year, the Fort Davis Hammerfest Race in April and the Fort Davis Cyclefest Tour in September. The 2008 dates are April 12-13 (Fort Davis Hammerfest Race) and September 20-21 (Fort Davis Cyclefest Tour). Bicycle Big Bend--a great all-around resource for biking in the southern part of our region, in and near Big Bend National ParkDavis Mountains Education Center, just off the Scenic Loop in Fort Davis.
